MAYDAY! MAYDAY!

A Mountain Pine Beetle information seminar will be held on May Day, May 1, 9-2 , for people who are not BeetleBusters, and May 2 for experienced Beetlers.

The seminars are free and offer an expert-led classroom experience plus an afternoon session in the field, meeting the beetles where they live. Both sessions will begin in the Community Center/Firehouse and will be led by Forest Health Consultant Bruce Benninghoff. Bring a sandwich. We’ll supply drinks and goodies.

This program can help make “Mayday,” the international distress signal, apply to the beetles rather than to our forest. Please come!
